Who Andrew is

A Utah agent and investor who evaluates all three paths.

Andrew Hasser works with Utah homeowners who need to sell a house or solve a difficult property problem and want to understand their options before committing to any one path. He operates Better Path Home Solutions, the consumer-facing service behind that work.

Andrew combines two perspectives that rarely sit in the same chair. As an investor and housing provider, he has bought, repaired, held, and rented properties in a range of conditions, so he understands how direct buyers evaluate a house and where their numbers come from. As a Utah licensed real estate agent, he also understands what the open market will pay, what a listing actually requires of a seller, and how conventional transactions succeed or fall apart.

That combination lets Andrew evaluate a homeowner's situation from several directions rather than forcing every problem into a cash-sale model. Sometimes a direct, as-is purchase is genuinely the best fit. Sometimes a well-prepared listing will put substantially more money in the seller's pocket. Occasionally an alternative structure, or not selling right now, is the right answer. Andrew's job is to explain those trade-offs plainly.

He focuses on Salt Lake County, Davis County, Weber County, and the surrounding communities of Northern Utah and the Wasatch Front.

Why the dual perspective matters

Investor math and open-market reality, in the same conversation.

Most cash buyers can only tell you what they would pay. Most agents can only tell you what a listing might bring. Andrew has done both, so a homeowner gets a direct-sale figure with the math behind it and a realistic listing estimate side by side, from one person who has no reason to hide either number.

That is the reason Better Path Home Solutions exists: to help homeowners choose a solution, rather than to sell them one.

How Andrew approaches a seller's problem

Options before offers.

Start with the situation. Timeline, condition, financing, occupancy, and what the homeowner actually needs the sale to accomplish.

Both numbers, in writing. Every evaluation includes a direct-sale net and a realistic open-market estimate, so proceeds and timelines can be compared honestly.

Disclosure over discovery. Andrew may buy a property directly, or an affiliated entity may. That financial interest is stated up front, alongside the alternative of listing. Requesting information never creates an agency relationship on its own.

Referral when appropriate. When a lender, attorney, CPA, or HUD-approved housing counselor is the better first call, that is the recommendation. Read more about the approach.
